Fort Hood Housing Earns LEED Silver Certification
Newly constructed single-family homes designed by JHP recently received LEED for Homes - Silver Certification. The first 26 home sites were certified LEED silver designation at the Patton Park Neighborhood on the Fort Hood Army base.
JHP provided design services to Actus Lend Lease for 232 single-family homes to be residences for officer's on the Fort Hood Army base. "After all 232 homes are certified, this project will be one of the largest military housing communities under the USGBC pilot housing program for LEED", says Actus Lend Lease-Fort Hood Project Director Mack Quinney. "The LEED program requires each member of the design, construction and Army housing and military team to unite in one common goal - to provide energy and environmentally efficient homes for our military families.
